4. Notes on handling
a. The flasher canceling System does not
always operate at a proper time, because
it is so designed that only when the
requirements of both time and distance
are met, it functions. It is advisable to
make it a habit to turn the handle
switch to O F F with your finger each
time it is used.
b. Current continues to flow through the
flasher relay after the signal is turned off
automatically, therefore, it should pre-
ferably be turned off manually each time.
c. If the handle switch is turned on with
wrong wiring, the System may become
inoperative. Check for correct wiring
after it is re-connected.
d. The signal can be used with the flasher
canceling unit being disconnected. It
can be operated manually. Should the
System fail to operate, pull off the con-
nector and the turn signal can be operate
manually.

a. Le Systeme d'arret de clignotants ne
fonctionne pas toujours au bon moment,
car i l a ete congu pour fonctionner seule-
ment quand les exigences de temps et de
distance ont ete remplies toutes les deux.
II est conseille de s'habituer ä remettre le
levier sur O F F avec votre doigt chaque
fois qu'on l'utilise.
b. Le courant continue de passer dans le
relai de clignotants une fois que le signal
est arrete automatiquement; par con-
sequent, i l est preferable de l'arreter ä la
main ä chaque fois.
c. Si le Systeme est mis en marche avec un
cablage mauvais, le Systeme peut ne pas
fonctionner. Verifier apres chaque re-
connection si le cablage est correct.
d. Le signal peut etre utilise egalement
quand on deconnecte l'unite d'arret de
clignotants. II peut etre actionne ä la
main. Si le Systeme se mettait ä ne plus
fonctionner, deconnecter le connecteur
et le signal peut etre alors actionne ä la
main.
4. Bedienungshinweise
a. Da die automatische Abschaltung der
Blinkleuchten nur dann erfolgt, wenn
eine gewisse Zeitspanne vergangen ist
bzw. eine gewisse Fahrtsrecke durch-
fahren wurde, ist es empfehlenswert,
nach dem Durchfahren der Kurve oder
der Richtungsänderung immer den
Schalterhebel auf Position O F F zu stel-
len, da ansonsten die Blinkleuchten zu
lange eingeschaltet bleiben könnten.
b. Auch nach der automatischen Abschal-
tung wird das Blinkerrelais mit Strom
versorgt; auch aus diesem Grund wird ein
Ausschalten von Hand empfohlen.
c. Falls der Lenkerschalter falsch ver-
drahtet ist und betätigt wird, kann dieses
System beschädigt werden.
Nach dem Einbau daher unbedingt die
Verdrahtung auf richtige prüfen.
d. Die Blinkleuchten können auch dann
verwendet werden, wenn die automati-
sche Blinklichtabschaltung abgetrennt
wird. Falls diese Automatik schadhaft
ist, den Stecker abziehen und die Blink-
leuchten von Hand ein- und ausschalten.
