B. Starting mode
In the starting System of the Starter dynamo, the series
coil and the armature, working as a D.C. motor,
generate a great amount of torque, by which the
engine is cranked.
C. Checking the dynamo
First disconnect the wires from terminal A (white),
then ground terminal F, with a jumper wire. Connect
the positive lead of the tester to terminal A (white),
and ground the negative tester lead to the engine.
Start the engine and keep it running at 1,000 ~
2 , 0 0 0 r.p.m. If the electricity generated reads more
than 10V. on the tester. the generator is in good
working condition.
Caution:
Do not run the engine at more than 1,000 ~ 2,000
r.p.m. in this test. Otherwise, a high voltage current
generated will ruin the coil, lead wire. etc.
B. Systeme de demarrage
Lorsque la dynamo-demarreur fonctionne comme demar-
reur electrique, la bobine sehe et l'induit forment un mo-
teur ä courant continu fournissant un couple amplement
süffisant pour lancer le moteur.
C. Verification de la dynamo
Deconnecter d'abord le fil aboutissant ä la borne A
(blanc), et raccorder la borne F ä l'aide d'une jarretiere.
Raccorder le fil positif du contröleur ä la borne A (blanc),
et mettre son fil negatif ä la masse sur le moteur. Mettre
le moteur en marche, et le faire tourner ä 1.000 ~ 2.000
tr/mn. Si le contröleur (voltmetre) indique une tension
superieure a 10V pour le courant engendre, la dynamo est
en bon etat de marche.
Attention:
Lors de cet essai, eviter de faire tourner le moteur ä plus
de 2.000 tr/mn, sinon la tension engendree serait exces-
sive, et provoquerait la destruction de la bobine, des fils,
etc.

in dem Anlaßsystem der Anlasser-Lichtmaschine wir-
ken die Serienspule und der Anker als Gleichstrommo-
tor, der ein großes Drehmoment erzeugt, durch das
der Motor angelassen wird.
C. Prüfen der L i c h t m a s c h i n e
Zunächst Leitung von der Klemme A (weiß) trennen,
dann Klemme F mit einem Schaltdraht an Masse le-
gen. Positive Leitung des Testers mit der Klemme A
(weiß) verbinden und negative Testerleitung am Motor
an Masse legen. Motor anlassen und mit einer Dreh-
zahl von 1.000 bis 2 . 0 0 0 U/min laufen lassen. W e n n
das Prüfgerät eine Spannung von mehr als 10V an-
zeigt, ist der Generator in gutem Arbeitszustand
A c h t u n g :
Bei dieser Prüfung, Motor nicht mit mehr als 1.000 ~
2.000 U/min laufen lassen, weil sonst ein Hochspan-
nungsstrom erzeugt wird, der die Spule, den Leitungs-
draht usw. zerstört.
