1. Checking the yoke assembly
Clean the yoke with a rag to remove dust, oil and
carbon from brush wear, etc.
a. Field coil brush insulation test
The positive brush of the field coil is insulated
from the yoke and using the tester. you can check
its insulation.
If the insulation is bad, the circuit between the
field coil. or the brush holder, and the yoke is
shorted.
N o t e :
The negative brush is not insulated.
1. Verification de l'ensemble carcasse:
Nettoyer la carcasse avec un chiffon, pour la debar-
rasser de la poussiere, du cambouis, de la poussiere
de charbon provenant de l'usure des balais, etc.
a. Contröle de l'isolement du balai de bobine de champ:
Le balai positif de la bobine de champ est isole de la
carcasse, et on peut verifier son isolement ä l'aide du
contröleur de poche. Si l'isolement est defectueux, il
y a court circuit entre la bobine de champ ou le por-
te-balai et la carcasse.
N.B.:
Le balai negatif n'est pas isole.
1. Prüfen der Jocheinheit
Joch mit einem Lappen reinigen, um Staub, Öl
und Kohle, die durch den Bürstenverschleiß ent-
steht, zu entfernen.
a. Wiederstandsprüfung der Erregerbürsten
Die positive Bürste der Erregerspule ist von dem
Joch isoliert und diese Isolierung kann mit dem
Tester geprüft werden. Wenn die Isolierung
schlecht ist, hat der Stromkreis zwischen der Erre-
gerspule oder dem Bürstenhalter und dem J o c h
Kurzschluß.
A n m e r k u n g :
Die negative Bürste ist nicht isoliert.
