Electric fan inspection
NOTE:
Checking of the electric fan should be made
without removing it from the motorcycle.
1. Check the electric fan with a 12 volt
battery. Connect the leads as shown in
the illustration. If the electric fan does
not operate, replace the electric fan
motor assembly. If the electric fan
operates, check the following points.
Replace or/and repair as necessary:
a. Smooth operation of the fan motor;
b. Excessive vibration of the fan motor;
c. Cracks in the fan motor bracket;
d. Cracks in fan blades;
e. Loose bolts securing the fan motor
bracket and radiator mounting bolts

Le controle du ventilateur electrique dolt etre
fait sans le deposer de la motocyclette.
. Contrbler le ventilateur electrique avec
une batterie 12V. Brancher les fils corn-
me illustre. Si le ventilateur electrique
ne fonctionne pas, changer l'ensemble
moteur de ventilateur electrique. Si le
ventilateur electrique fonctionne, con-
trOler les points suivants. Changer etfou
reparer si necessaire,
a. Fonctionnement doux du moteur de
ventilateur;
b. Vibrations excessive du moteur de ven-
tilateur;
c. Etrier de moteur de ventilateur fissure;
d. Pales de ventilateur fissurdes;
e. Boulons de fixation d'etrier de moteur
de ventilateur et de radiateur desserres;
Priifung des elektrischen Lifters
ANMERKUNG:
Der elektrische Liifter sollte im eingebauten
Zustand gepriift werden.
1. Den elektrischen Liifter mit einer 12V
Batterie pri.ifen. Die Kabel gern6E Abbil-
dung anschliegen. Falls der elektrische
Liifter nicht arbeitet, den laiftermotor
erneuern. Arbeitet der LiAter, die
folgende Punkte kontrollieren und ggf.
reparieren und/oder erneuern:
a. Clatter Betrieb des Luttermotors.
b. ObermaRige Vibrationen des Lifter-
motors.
c. Risse in der Liiftermotorkonsole.
d. Risse in den Fliigeln des Liifters.
e. Lockere Befestigungsschrauben der
Liiftermotorkonsole and des Kiihlers.
