STARTING CIRCUIT CUT-OFF RELAY

Inspection
1.
Lift the seat, and remove the right side-
cover,
2.
Remove the TC1 unit and reservoir tank
holding screw.
3.
Remove the TCI unit and reservoir tank
from the frame.
4.
Remove the starting circuit cut-off relay
from the frame, and disconnect the con-
nector.
Verification
1.
Lever la selle puis enlever le couvercle
lateral droit.
2.
Enlever les vis de fixation du bloc TCI
et vase d'expansion.
3.
Enlever l'ensemble bloc TCI
et vase
d'ex-
pansion du cadre.
4.
Enlever le relais de coupre du circuit de
demarrage du cadre puis debrancher le
connecteur.
Prtifung
1.
Den Stiz anheben und den rechten
Seitendeckel entfernen.
2.
Die Befestigungsschraube der TCI-Ein-
heit und des Ausgleichsbeh6lters entfer-
nen.
3.
TC1-Einheit und Ausgleichsbehalter aus
dem Rahmen entfernen.
4.
Das Anlasserkreis-Unterbrecherrelais aus
dem Rahmen entfernen und den Stecker
abtrennen.

Check the resistance of the relay coil
windings with the pocket tester.
If
the
resistance is not within specification,
replace the relay.
6.
Check the relay function with a 12 volt
battery and the pocket tester. Connect
the leads as shown in the illustration. If
the resistance readings do not equal
those shown in the illustration, replace
the relay.
5.
ContrOler la resistance de l'enroulement
de la bobine du relais avec le testeur de
poche (POCKET TESTER). Si cette
resistance est hors-tolerances, changer
le relais.
6.
Conti-61er le fonctionnement du relais
avec une batterie 12 volts et le testeur de
poche. Brancher les fils comme illustre.
Si les resistances ne sont pasegales aux
valeurs donnees sur l'illustration, changer
le relais.
5.
Mit Hilfe des Taschenprilfgerates den
Widerstand der Spulenwicklung des
Relais priifen. Falls dieser Widerstand
nicht innerhalb der Toleranz liegt, das
Relais erneuern.
6.
Die Funktion des Relais mit einer 12V
Batterie und dem Taschenpri1fgergt
kontrollieren. Die Leitungskabel gernag
Abbildung anschliegen. Falls die Able-
sungen der Widerstande nicht den Wider-
st5nden in der Abbildung entsprechen,
so muf3 das Relais erneuert werden.
