While the landmarks are being touched, the 3D
model is rotated toward the tip of the probe. The
landmark which is being touched is located in the
center of the screen in order to ensure optimum
visibility.
During the registration, it must be ensured that
the defined landmarks on the patient have been
touched correctly. If necessary, the position of the
landmarks on the 3D model must be adapted to
the actual patient situation.
The position of the landmarks on the patient is
decisive, not those on the 3D model!
The visualization using the 3D model is only meant
to provide rough orientation during registration.
