Sicherheitshinweise
Es ist unerlässlich, dass der Anwender dieses Sys-
tems alle in der Ge brauchs anweisung aufgeführten
Gefahren- und Sicherheitshinweise liest, beachtet
und strikt einhält, um die Sicherheit von Patient und
Anwender zu gewährleisten. Wird vermutet, dass das
KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-System oder eine der
Komponenten defekt oder falsch justiert ist, DARF
DAS KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-System NICHT
VERWENDET WERDEN, bis eine Überprüfung sowie
ggf. eine Reparatur durchgeführt worden ist. Eine Ver-
wendung von Teilen oder des ganzen KARL STORZ
NAV1™ pico-Systems mit defekten oder falsch jus-
tierten Komponenten kann den Patienten Gefahren für
seine persönliche Sicherheit aussetzen. Dies kann zu
ernsthaften oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.
Trennen Sie das KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-
System im Brandfall vom Netz, bevor Sie den
Brand löschen. Auf diese Weise wird die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlags beim Löschen reduziert.
Für das KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-System dürfen
nur Feuerlöscher für elektrische und chemische
Brände verwendet werden.
Trennen Sie das KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-
System im Brandfall vom Netz, bevor Sie den
Brand löschen. Auf diese Weise wird die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlags beim Löschen reduziert.
Es wird erwartet, dass der Anwender des
KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-Systems alle Anwei-
sungen für das Verhalten in Notfällen gelesen
und verstanden hat, bevor eine Anwendung des
KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico-Systems am Patienten
geplant und durchgeführt wird.
Der Anwender findet Informationen über die
verpflichtenden Routineüberprüfungen und
präventiven Wartungsarbeiten im Kapitel „Wartung"
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung. Wird diesen
Verpflichtungen von der Betreiber-/Anwender seite
nicht nachgekommen, führt dies zum Erlöschen
aller oder von Teilen der Garantie ansprüche.
Safety instructions

pico system MUST NOT BE USED until the unit
has been inspected and, if necessary, repaired.
The use of parts of or the complete KARL STORZ
NAV1™ pico system with faulty or incorrectly
adjusted components may endanger the patient
and potentially lead to serious or fatal injuries.
In case of fire, disconnect the KARL STORZ navi-
gation system from the power supply before extin-
guishing the fire. This reduces the risk of electric
shocks during extinguishing procedure.
Only fire extinghuishing devices for electrical and
chemical fires may be used for the KARL STORZ
NAV1™ pico navigation unit.
In the event of fire, disconnect the KARL STORZ
NAV1™ pico navigation system from the power
supply before extinguishing the fire. This reduces
the risk of electric shocks during the extinguishing
procedure.
It is expected that the user of the KARL STORZ
NPU system has read and understood all of the
instructions for conduct in the event of an emer-
gency both whilst preparing for and during the
use of the KARL STORZ NAV1™ pico system on
patients.
The user will find information on mandatory routine
inspections and preventive inspection work in
the "Maintenance" chapter of this instruction
manual. Failure of the operator/user to meet these
obligations will invalidate all or some warranty
rights.
