7.1 Installation

The pump can either be mounted upright (e.g. on a bracket or on the metering container
(item 1)) or suspended on a wall (item 2).
The control unit for the pump can also be rotated. These options enable a large number of
installation alternatives. The dimensions of the pump and the mounting plate are given in
Ä Chapter 15 'Technical data' on page 188 .
CAUTION!
The mounting plate must be securely screwed to the relevant surface and the
pump must be locked securely into the mounting plate.

design ensures that they will only fit into the recess in the mounting plate in
one direction.
It is essential to ensure that the stability of the pump is guaranteed and is
not loaded by additional (weight) forces! Additional components may not
be attached to or stored on the pump, and people must not stand on or
attach items to pumps which have already been installed.
