The bus coupler is designed for use as a slave only on a bus
system.
The bus coupler's MAC ID station address is set using the S1 and
S2 rotary switches.
The max. baud rate is 500 kBaud.
The logic and valve control power supplies are monitored. If
they exceed or fall below a set limit, an error signal will be
generated and confirmed with the diagnostic LED and the
diagnostic information.
The bus coupler is available in two variants, with either 24 or
32 valve outputs. This limits the maximum number of
controllable valve solenoids. Depending on the variant:
W
Either 12 double solenoid or 24 single solenoid valves or
W
16 double or 32 single solenoid valves can be controlled in
this manner. The valves can also be combined.
A bus coupler with 32 outputs can only be connected to a VS
that has been designed for 32 valve solenoids.
The DeviceNet communication model is adapted to the I
SO/OSI Basic Reference Model.
