Bit 1 of the Module Control Register has an influence on the I/O
configuration of the bus coupler. Accordingly, the slave from the
DeviceNet master must be configured with 0 or 1 byte inputs:

MCR Bit 1 = 0
The slave must be configured by the DeviceNet master with:
– 3 byte outputs
– 0 byte inputs

MCR Bit 1 = 1
The slave must be configured by the DeviceNet master with:
– 3 byte outputs
– 1 byte inputs
Determines the parameter data length. With the bus control, the
length = 0x01 byte.
Both these commands have the same function and are identical.

A parameterization can be written into the module and the
diagnosis can be activated or deactivated with these
commands.

In the opposite direction, the parameter settings can be read
out.
The default value of this parameterization data (after power on)
depends on the position of the S3.5 DIP switch (see "Assigning
the valve supply" on page 107):
S3.5 = OFF default value: 0x00
S3.5 = ON default value: 0x3F
