5 . Checking the clutch plates

6. Checking the Primary Driven Gear Ass'y
T h e r u b b e r f r i c t i o n r i n g is p l a c e d b e t w e e n t h e
p e r i p h e r y o f t h e p r i m a r y d r i v e n gear a n d t h e c l u t c h
h o u s i n g i n o r d e r t o r e d u c e gear n o i s e at l o w e n g i n e
speeds.
1) C h e c k f o r Scratches o n t h e s l o t t e d s u r f a c e s o f t h e
boss.
2) C h e c k t h e t o o t h s u r f a c e s o f t h e p r i m a r y d r i v e
a n d d r i v e n gears f o r Scratches r e s u l t i n g f r o m
f o r e i g n m a t t e r j a m m e d b e t w e e n t h e m .
4 . Verification des disques de friction
Les disques de friction sont sujet ä l'usure. Si celle-ci
est au moins de 0,3 mm et si le contact est inegal,
remplacez le disque.
5 . Verification des disques d'embrayage en acier
Ces disques en acier ne doivent presenter aucun
bleuissement dü ä la chaleur. Verifiez-les sur un
marbre ä dresser: le degre de gauchissement (co-
ncavite ou convexite) ne doit pas depasser 0,12 mm.
6 . Verification de l'ensemble de pignon conduit
primaires
Un anneau ä friction est place entre le pignon conduit
primaire et la cloche d'embrayage pour reduire le
bruit des pignons lorsque le moteur tourne ä faible
vitesse.
1) Voyez si les rainures de la surface du pignon ne
portent pas de rayures.
2) Voyez si la surface des dents des pignons conduit
et conducteur primaires ne porte pas degrat-
ignures resultant d'un corps etranger retenu
prisonnier entre les deux pignons.
