c y l i n d e r . A v o i d f o r c i n g t h e p i s t o n i n t o t h e
c y l i n d e r ; o t h e r w i s e , t h e c y l i n d e r w a l l w i l l be
s c r a t c h e d , t h u s a l l o w i n g t h e b r a k e f l u i d t o leak
past.
6) Install t h e snap r i n g .
7) Install t h e b o o t i n t h e m a s t e r c y l i n d e r g r o o v e a n d
t h e p i s t o n g r o o v e , r e s p e c t i v e l y .
I n s t a l l i n g t h e master c y l i n d e r o n t h e h a n d l e b a r
8) Install t h e master c y l i n d e r o n t h e h a n d l e b a r .
9) A d j u s t t h e c l e a r a n c e b e t w e e n t h e p i s t o n a n d t h e
p u s h r o d .
N o t e :
F u l l y t i g h t e n t h e a d j u s t i n g s c r e w l o c k n u t so t h a t
it w i l l n o t b e c o m e l o o s e .
10) F a s t e n t h e b r a k e h o s e t o t h e master c y l i n d e r
w i t h t h e u n i o n b o l t .
N o t e :
If t h e gasket is f o u n d s c r a t c h e d , it s h o u l d be
r e p l a c e d .
11) F e e d a p p r o x i m a t e l y 3 0 c c b r a k e f l u i d i n t o t h e
reservoir t a n k p i r o r t o b l e e d i n g .
Installation du piston
5) Verifier si les surfaces du piston et des coupelies
ne sont pas rayees et, ensuite, installer le piston
dans le cylindre. Eviter de forcer pour ne pas
rayer la paroi du cylindre, ce qui permettrait au
liquide de frein de fuir le long du piston.
6) Installer le circlip.
7) Installer le manchon dans les rainures prevues
respectivement sur le cylindre et sur le piston.
Installation du maitre-cylindre sur le guidon
8) Installer le maitre-cylindre sur le guidon.
9) Regler le jeu entre le piston et le poussoir.
N o t e :
Resserrer ä fond le contre-ecrou de la vis de
reglage, afin qu'elle ne risque pas de se desserrer.
10) F i x e r le tuyau de frein au maitre-cylindre ä
l'aide du b o u l o n de raccord.
N o t e :
Si le joint est raye, i l faut le remplacer.
11) Avant de purger le Systeme, introduire environ
30 c m
3
de liquide de frein dans le reservoir.
