p a r t i c u l a r a t t e n t i o n t o a n y p a r t s t h a t are s u b j e c t
t o w e a r o r m i g h t b y s u b j e c t e d t o V i b r a t i o n .
3) R e g u l a t o r
a. A d e f e c t i v e r e g u l a t o r c a n c a u s e a b n o r m a l l y l o w
o r h i g h v o l t a g e O u t p u t . R e m o v e t h e r e g u l a t o r
c o v e r a n d e x a m i n e a l l i n t e r n a l parts f o r signs o f
f a i l u r e . A l l p o i n t s u r f a c e s s h o u l d be r e a s o n a b l y
c l e a n . If t h e y a r e v e r y p i t t e d , o r if t h e c e n t r a l
c o n t a c t p o i n t h a s f u s e d t o a s t a t i o n a r y p o i n t ,
t h e n t h i s is t h e t r o u b l e s p o t . C l e a n t h e p o i n t s if
p o s s i b l e . If t h i s d o e s n o t h e l p , r e p l a c e t h e
r e g u l a t o r .
A l s o , if a n y w i r e is b r o k e n , a n d c a n n o t b e
s o l d e r e d b a c k i n p l a c e , r e p l a c e t h e r e g u l a t o r .
b. If v i s u a l i n s p e c t i o n d o e s n o t l o c a t e a n y t r o u b l e -
s p o t t h e n c h e c k f o r p r o p e r resistance t h r o u g h all
r e g u l a t o r c i r c u i t s . T h i s is d o n e b y s e p a r a t i n g t h e
r e g u l a t o r m u l t i p l e c o n n e c t o r a n d m e a s u r i n g re-
s i s t a n c e t h r o u g h t h e g r e e n , b l a c k , r e d / w h i t e , a n d
b r o w n w i r e s at t h e c o n n e c t o r .
2) Fils brises
a. V o y e z s'il y a des fils apparemment brises o u des
connecteurs detaches (surtout s'il s'agit de con-
necteurs m u l t i p l e x ) . A c c o r d e z une attention
particuliere aux pieces sujettes ä l'usure ou
soumises ä des vibrations.
3) Regulateur
a. U n regulateur defectueux peut etre la cause
d'une tension de sortie anormalement basse ou
excessivement elevee. Retirez le couvercle du
regulateur et examinez toutes les pieces in-
terieures pour y detecter les causes de panne
eventuelle. Toutes les surfaces de contact
doivent etre raisonnablement propres. Si elles
sont fortement piquees o u si le point de contact
central a fondu, c'est lä que se trouve l'origine de
la panne. Si possible, nettoyez les contacts. Si
cette Operation n'apporte rien, remplacez le
regulateur. De meme, si u n f i l est brise et ne
peut plus etre soude ä sa place, remplacez le
regulateur.
b. S i on n'arrive pas ä detecter visuellement la cause
de la panne, i l faut verifier la resistance de tous
les circuits du regulateur. Pour cela, debrancher
le connecteur ä broches multiples du regulateur
et mesurer successivement la resistance entre
chaque paire de fils (vert, noir, rouge/blanc et
brun) aboutissant au connecteur.

E r s c h ü t t e r u n g a u s g e s e t z t s i n d .
3) S p a n n u n g s r e g l e r
a. E i n d e f e k t e r R e g l e r k a n n z u e i n e r übermässig
h o h e n o d e r n i e d r i g e n S p a n n u n g s a b g a b e f ü h r e n .
R e g l e r d e c k e l a b n e h m e n u n d alle i n n e r e n T e i l e
a u f e t w e l c h e B e s c h ä d i g u n g u n t e r s u c h e n . A l l e
K o n t a k t f l ä c h e n müssen v e r h ä l t n i s m ä s s i g s a u b e r
s e i n . W e n n sie sehr s t a r k angefressen s i n d o d e r
d e r m i t t l e r e K o n t a k t an e i n e m s t a t i o n ä r e n
K o n t a k t h ä n g e n g e b l i e b e n i s t , ist d i e s d i e U r s a c h e
d e r S t ö r u n g . D i e K o n t a k t e müssen w e n n
i r g e n d w i e m ö g l i c h g e r e i n i g t w e r d e n . F a l l s d i e s
n i c h t h i l f t , s o m u s s d e r S p a n n u n g s r e g l e r e r s e t z t
w e r d e n . F a l l s e i n D r a h t g e b r o c h e n ist u n d dieser
S c h a d e n d u r c h A n l ö t e n n i c h t b e h o b e n w e r d e n
k a n n , so ist d e r R e g l e r e b e n f a l l s z u e r s e t z e n .
b. F a l l s m i t b l o s s e m A u g e k e i n e S t ö r u n g s u r s a c h e
e n t d e c k t w e r d e n k a n n , s i n d alle R e g l e r k r e i s e a u f
d e n r i c h t i g e n W i d e r s t a n d z u p r ü f e n . Z u d i e s e m
Z w e c k w i r d d e r M e h r f a c h s t e c k e r d e s R e g l e r s
gelöst u n d d e r W i d e r s t a n d a m g r ü n e n , s c h w a r z e n ,
r o t / w e i s s e n u n d b r a u n e n D r a h t d e s S t e c k e r s
gemessen.
