rag s o a k e d in l a c q u e r t h i n n e r o r s o l v e n t . R e m o v e
Scratches b y l i g h t l y a n d e v e n l y r u b b i n g w i t h
e m e r y c l o t h .
5) R e p a i r i n g t h e B r a k e S h o e
If the brake shoe has Scratches or uneven contact
with the brake drum, smooth out the surface
with sandpaper or hand file.
3) Segment de frein
Reglez le segment de frein, et mesurez son
diametre exterieur ä l'aide d'un pied ä coulisse,
comme illustre ä la Fig. 5-1-14.
Si le segment mesure moins de 175 m m , rem-
placez-le.
4) T a m b o u r de frein
La presence d'huile o u de rayures sur la surface
interieure du tambour de frein diminue
l'efficacitä d u freinage et cause des bruits
anormaux. Enlever l'huile en l'essuyant avec un
chiffon imbibe de solvant. Eliminer les rayures
en frottant legerement et uniformement la
surface avec de la toile ä m e r i .
5) Reparation du segment de frein
Si le segment p r ä s e n t e des rayures ou s'il n'est
pas en contact ägal avec le tambour de frein,
polissez la surface au m o y e n d'une toile emeri ou
d'une lime.
