Data model object: BIS_U_6127_Rfid_Provider

This chapter describes the OPC-UA data model and deals
specifically with the OPC-UA object
BIS_U_6127_Rfid_Provider.
This object is derived from the OPC-UA object
RfidReaderDeviceType, which in turn is derived from
AutoIdDeviceType. The object consists of methods,
variables and events:
– Methods are client-callable functions to which values
can be transferred, which perform an action and then
return values.
– Variables are values that consist of a simple or complex
data type and that can generally be read and written to
by the client at any time (there may be restrictions on
permissions). Variables in OPC UA are cross-session,
i.e. their value is displayed equally to all connected
clients.
– Events are functions with which the OPC-UA server
(here the BIS U-6127 processor unit) can send
unsolicited messages to the clients, provided that the
client has activated these notifications.
