User Management
In addition to the standard user profiles, you can create
your own users with individual permissions.
The user administration (see Fig. 7-25) is called up in the
c menu under u
onfiguRation SeR adminiStRation
on page 36). The configuration page first provides an
overview of the available users in the system. By default,
only the (invisible) users
admin
available.
No user data is visible without logging in.
Users who do not have the a
own data and edit their own password.
Only users who have the a
dmin
create new users and edit the data and passwords of
existing users or delete user accounts.
By deleting and creating a new user, a new password can
be set even if the password is unknown.
Available user roles
Role Description
User User role with no configuration rights. As a
rule, mainly process data and additionally
some settings are visible. No configuration is
possible however.
Expert Expert user who is permitted to make some
settings.
Admin Administrative user who can configure any
aspect of the device.

System update
The system update (see Fig. 7-26) is called up in the

Fig. 7-26 shows the dialog box for the firmware update
with the buttons for selecting a firmware file (a), for
triggering the update process (c) and for the final device
restart (d) that can result from updates.
The firmware update files are signed and only files of this
kind can be imported into the system. If a firmware
upgrade fails, the device has an emergency system that
can be used to import new, signed firmware.
Despite an update, the device initially functions
normally and continues to run unchanged (if the
update process is taking place or has already
been completed). The update only takes effect
after a device restart.
After the update has been completed, restart the device
