9.3 Connection established via OPC UA with
UaExpert
There are several OPC-UA clients to connect to the
OPC-UA server of the BIS U-6127 processor unit. In this
user's guide, the connection setup using the UaExpert
from Unified Automation is shown as an example. The
OPC-UA client UaExpert is available for download free of
charge from the Unified Automation homepage
(www.unified-automation.com) and must be installed on
the PC.
The connection between OPC-UA client and OPC-UA
server (BIS U-6127) can be established via an unsecure
(see chapter 9.3.1) or secure variant (see chapter 9.3.2 on
page 136).
9.3.1 Unsecure connection setup between PC
(OPC-UA client) and the BIS U-6127 device
(OPC-UA server)
Connect the PC (OPC-UA client) to the BIS U-6127
device (OPC-UA server):
1. Launch the UaExpert application.
