Command identifier 'l': Lock
The l
command can be used to lock memory areas
ock
(RES, EPC, TID, USER) of a UHF data carrier against write
or read accesses, as well as any other accesses.
Depending on the security level, the memory areas can
only be password-protected or completely locked.
The m
and a
fields are used to specify which
aSk
ction
memory areas are to receive a new l
this should look like. By using bit masks, the l
several memory areas can be changed at the same time.
Before executing the l
command, the data carrier must
ock
be selected and the access password (a
for the selected tag must be written to parameter 1004
(see Memory bank on page 54).
For selecting data carriers (see Command
identifier 'z': Select data carrier (Select) on
page 105).
To set an access password for a data carrier,
write to byte address 4...7 of the R
memory bank, see Command identifier 'F':
Write data carrier, extended (>1024 bytes) on
page 114.
To transfer the password to access the data
carrier and execute the l
see Command identifier 'E': Change device
parameters on page 98 (parameter no:
1002
).
