The TIDFilter parameter can be used to create a specific
data filter that selects data carriers directly according to a
predefined filter mask when they are detected and reports
only those data carriers that match this filter mask. The
TIDFilter parameter overwrites the TIDFilter (default)
parameter and is valid until the current TCP session is
ended or the processor unit is restarted.
The filter mask is defined in the following form:
Filter mask = Address [1 word] + length [1 word] + filter
data [max. 62 bytes]
The address and length specifications must be specified in
bits. Masks can thus also start and end in the middle of
bytes.
The value range in each case is 0...496 bits.
The sum of both values must not exceed 496.
The 16-bit values are specified as 2 bytes in the order
Low – High.
The f
field must contain at least as many bytes
ilteR data
that allow the number of bits in the Length field to be
transmitted with it. The bits are to be left-aligned and
padded at the end to a whole byte length with zero bits.
Example:
Only data carriers whose TID from byte address 02
onwards contains the data E2 00 01 02 03
5 bytes) are to be reported.

RSSI filter
When data carriers are detected, the processor unit can
perform internal measurements that allow a statement to
be made about the signal strength with which the data
carrier was received. The determined signal strength, the
RSSI value, can be used to define a filter that reports only
those data carriers whose RSSI lies within a predefined
range when data carriers are detected.
In simplified terms, it can be said that a data carrier that is
close to the antenna results in a higher RSSI in an
undisturbed environment than a data carrier that is further
away. This would allow, for example, more distant data
carriers that are not to be detected to be masked out.
The RSSIMinFilter and RSSIMaxFilter parameters can be
used to specify the desired RSSI range. The total RSSI
range includes values from −128 to +127. If the minimum
is set to 128 and the maximum to +127, all detected data
carriers pass the filter.

RSSIMinFilter (default) defines the RSSI lower limit to be
used for detection. The defined value is used by the
processor unit after switching on or after restarting the
processor unit.
