Loop filter in asynchronous mode
In asynchronous mode, the loop filter is active immediately.
An event for a new tag is triggered when the condition
Minimum number of successful reads is met. An event for
a tag that is no longer found is only triggered when the
Number of non-reads is exceeded.
Loop filter in synchronous mode
In synchronous mode, the loop filter can be used as
follows:
Live mode: Scans and filter operation are performed in
the background, query of the current data carrier list
(after filtering) via the normal synchronous commands.
The mode is suitable for continuously repeated queries
in short intervals.
Cumulative mode: Scans and filter operation take place
in the background, query of all newly found data
carriers (including those that have left the antenna read
field again in the meantime) via the normal synchronous
commands.
The mode is suitable for obtaining a complete list of
data carriers via triggered or occasional queries (e.g. in
a gate application).
In addition to the actual filter function, the combination of
the loop filter and synchronous operation has the following
advantages:
The responses to synchronous commands and
method calls occur almost without any waiting time,
since the actual data carrier search runs independently
of this in the background.
The application on the controlling device can determine
when it wants to fetch the results of the data carrier
search without the risk of losing results, as they can be
collected and cached (accumulated) in the device.
The loop filter can be used in synchronous mode as
follows:
