For time functions or time stamps, Time zone, DST can be
used to specify which time zone is to be used as the basis
and whether an offset for daylight saving time (DST) is to
be used.
The parameter is transferred as an offset to the universal
time and a description text in the following form:
Parameter value = Time zone [1 byte] + DST [1 byte] +
text [16 bytes]
Example:
The time is to be specified as Central European Summer
Time (CEST). This corresponds to universal time +1 hour
for Central Europe and offset +1 hour for Daylight Saving
Time (UTC+2). CEST is to be appended as description text
to clarify how the time is to be interpreted, padding the
description text to 16 bytes in length if necessary.

When reading out the parameter, the effective
time zone value is always returned. So in the
above example, this is the value for 2 hours
(1 hour of the time zone and 1 hour for daylight
saving time). The daylight saving time specifica-
tion DST is always returned with 0.
An automatic changeover to daylight saving
time is not carried out by the BIS U-6127
device, since the respective regulations can be
different locally and an Internet connection is
often not available.
