007 protocol (continued)
Command identifier ',': Detect data carriers,
extended
Detects the data carriers (max. 999) that are located in the
detection range of the specified antenna and returns the
data specified under Data type as well as additional
information. With the data carrier selection, either all or
only selected data carriers can be detected
(see Command identifier 'z': Select data carrier (Select) on
page 105).

Receive Signal
Received Signal Strength Indicator
Strength
(RSSI) allows conclusions to be drawn
Indicator (RSSI)
about the signal quality with which the
data carrier was received. It depends,
among other things, on the tag type
and the distance of the detected tag
from the antenna.
The signed value is in the range
−128...+127, higher values mean a
higher signal level.
In the 007 protocol, the value is trans-
mitted as 3 ASCII digits in the range
'000'...'255'.
To get to the actual value range, the
following calculation is necessary:
Values from '000'...'127':
Interpret unchanged as number
0...127.
Values from '128'...'255':
Convert to the range −128...−1 by
subtracting 256.
Time stamp
Contains the time when the data
carrier was detected in the UTC
(Universal Time Coordinate) time zone
Format: hhmmssnnn
hh = hours, mm = minutes,
ss = seconds, nnn = milliseconds
The PC, XPC1 and XPC2 fields are for expert
applications only. Detailed information can be
