TEDS status: List of status bits

The following table sets out the bits in the TEDS status (32 bits) if the status in
question is set.

Bit Explanation for bit set
20 The test signal is activated, no measured values are
captured.
21 An Ethernet connection has been established. This
is not the connection to a browser, it is the connec-
tion to a computer or PLC, e.g. for transferring data
or commands.
22 ... Not in use, and reserved for future upgrades.

29 The TEDS module is being read and the device is
being configured according to the specified settings.
30 The data in the TEDS module either contain errors
or cannot be set.
31 The bit is switched on and off rhythmically at 0.5 Hz,
indicating that the ClipX is working.
Bit
0 Check that the TEDS module is correctly connected,
if one is installed.
