2 Introduction
The QuantumX family comprises various modules which you can use to
connect a variety of transducer and signal sources: strain gages (SG), SG
transducers, current and voltage sources, thermocouples, Pt100, frequency
signals, inductive transducers, LVDTs or potentiometric transducers. The
modules can be individually combined and connected via Ethernet interfaces
according to the measurement task. The distributed operation makes it
possible to position individual modules close to the measuring points,
resulting in short sensor lines.
This manual will support you during the installation of the driver for CANape
and explains how to configure your QuantumX system. Detailed information
about connecting and configuring the QuantumX modules can be found in the
operating manuals for the QuantumX family and in the online help of the
QuantumX Assistant.
