Reprogram/overwrite TEDS module
You can use a file containing TEDS data (file extension "ted") to describe a con-
nected TEDS module. Use the HBM TEDS Editor as necessary (free to down-
load from www.hbm.com
Software) to generate such a file. For many sensors TEDS files are also avail-
able from the manufacturer.
1. In your browser choose the TEDS menu.

data from the file to the sensor's TEDS module.
Any existing data in the TEDS module will be lost when you do so. Click on
a free input range to cancel the action.
The TEDS data is checked before being written. If an error occurs, the file is not
written to the TEDS module, though it is already in the device storage. So the
measured value is identified as INVALID. Read out the TEDS module contain-
ing the old data again as necessary, for example by removing the sensor and re-
attaching it or by clicking on
