12.1 Possible errors

For the ClipX to be ready, the LEDs must light in the relevant colors – see
"Health-Monitoring, LEDs" on page

tialized without error, or whether the fieldbus of the BM40IE or BM40PB is work-
ing correctly.
Quick check
•
No LED on: Check power supply.
•
System LED does not turn green: check system LED states.
•
Fieldbus LED red: check fieldbus LED states.
•
Is the correct fieldbus set for the BM40IE?
•
Check the fieldbus configuration software on the master to ensure that all
addresses and parameters are correctly set.
If the values listed in the table are exceeded, an error is signaled, and the val-
ues are invalid.
