4.4. EXTERNAL PROTECTION DEVICES
This device is not equipped with its own mains separation device. It is, therefore, essential
that the customer install such a device at the installation site. This must be installed near
the UPS and labelled as the mains separation device for the UPS.
(Devices for the protection of cables external to the UPS shall be installed upstream of the
equipment. Such devices must be type GL/GG fuses.)
Notice
The following label must be displayed on all switching devices installed in the same electrical sys-
tem as the UPS, even when these are located at a distance from the area in which it is located
(according to European standard EN 62040-1):
