Settings for Modbus TCP

Measured values and parameterization values have the format REAL (float-
ing point). This means two registers are required per value. So to avoid
inconsistent values, read or write the registers simultaneously when
accessing.
First make the network settings in the browser depending on your network configura-
tion:
– DHCP server in network: Choose DHCP under Config Control.
– BOOTP server in network: Choose BOOTP under Config Control.
– No server in network: Choose Static IP Address under Config Control and specify IP
Address and Netmask (subnet mask). The Gateway setting is optional, and depends
on your network.
You can also choose more than one option. If you do, the settings are activated in the
following order:
1. The ClipX is trying to obtain an address from the DHCP server.
2. The ClipX is trying to obtain an address via BOOTP.
3. The ClipX activates the static IP address.
You must choose at least one of the options, otherwise you will get an error message.
