Android
Install one of the following apps from the Google Play Store if you want to connect the
ClipX using Android:

Linux
Under Linux you can also type one of the following lines to call up a list of ClipX devices
and their IP addresses or MAC addresses respectively and enter them in your browser:
$ nmblookup clipx
$ avahi-browse --all
Which line works is dependent on which method (NetBIOS or Bonjour) you are able to
use, i.e. what software is installed on your PC.

No device found?

If no connection is made, there may be a number of reasons.
General reasons
•
Is the device actually on (connected to the power supply)?
•
Is the system LED on the ClipX lit? See also
•
Is the interface cable connected?
•
Have you enabled the correct interface or correct interface adapter on the PC?
Problems with the interface
•
Are you using the correct Ethernet cable?
Use an Ethernet switch with a standard cable or a direct connection by a cross
cable.
•
Is your Ethernet switch operating correctly?
If you are not operating any other devices on the switch with which you can check
the function, try to set up a direct connection between the PC and the measuring
device.
