Function
Write an object in the object dictionary by
index and subindex. The padding byte has no
function – see
„Object dictionary" on page
159.
The ClipX only reacts to changes in Index,
Subindex, Padding Byte or Value. It does not
react if Index = 0x0000 (no operation). To
repeat reading or writing, change the request
in at least one variable. For example, set the
index first to zero and then back to the
desired value.
You can only write data objects up to 32 bits
in size.
Though the value type is defined as UDINT,
you can also write in REAL values (FLOAT). To
do so, copy the value without a type conver-
sion (cast operation) to value! The table
below explains the bit assignment.
