5. Engine is running, but
there is a warning
indication.
6. Engine continues
running although
[Stop engine] has been
pressed.

Possible cause
a) Oil pressure too low due to low oil level or incorrect
oil (incorrect viscosity).
Indicator light "LOW OIL PRESSURE" on, and
message "Low oil press." shown in display.
b) Engine temperature too high.
Indicator light "ENGINE OVERHEATED" on, and
message "Overtemperature" shown in display.
c) Insufficient battery voltage.
One of the indicator lights "BATT./
BATT.CHARGER FAILURE" on, and message
"Fault, battery 1" or "Fault, battery 2" shown in
display.
d) Insufficient charging voltage.
One of the indicator lights "BATT./
BATT.CHARGER FAILURE" flashing, and
message "Fault, charger 1" or "Fault, charger 2"
shown in display.
e) No power supply.
Indicator light "POWER SUPPLY" off, and
message "Mains failure" shown in display.
f) Fuel shortage (level < 30 %).
Indicator light "FUEL DEFICIENCY" on, and
message "Fuel reserve" shown in display.
g) Cooling water heater.
Indicator light "ALARM COOLING WATER
HEATER" on, and message "Short-circuit" shown
in display.
h) One of the following sensor cables defective:
fuel valve, level switch of the priming tank,
pressure switch 1 or 2.
Indicator light "CONNECTION SENSOR ALARM"
on, and depending on the signal interrupted,
message such as "Alarm, press. 1", "Alarm,
press. 2" or "Alarm, tank level" shown in display.
i) No generator signal or generator defective.
Message "Altern./belt" shown in display.
a) Stop valve defective.
b) Cable to stop valve defective or incorrectly
connected.
c) Circuit breaker F7 defective.
Remedy
Add or change oil. See the installation and
operating instructions for the diesel engine.
Check the cooling water level and add cooling
water, if necessary. See the installation and
operating instructions for the diesel engine.
Test the battery capacity. Replace the battery if it
is defective. Check if the circuit breaker of
battery A and B (F5 and F6) has tripped. Cut in,
if necessary.
Test the function of the chargers. Replace the
chargers if they are defective. Check if the
circuit breaker of charger 1 and 2 (F3 and F4)
has tripped. Cut in, if necessary.
Check the power supply and reestablish it,
if necessary.
Fill the tank with diesel. See the installation and
operating instructions for the diesel engine or
fuel tank.
Check the function of the cooling water heater.
Replace the cooling water heater, if defective.
Check the sensor cable and sensor. Replace the
sensor cable or sensor, if necessary.
Check the connection to the generator and the
generator. Replace the generator cable or
generator, if necessary.
Stop the engine by closing the fuel valve.
Replace the stop valve.
Check connection according to section
10.2 Electrical connection.
Test the cable and replace, if necessary.
Check and replace it, if necessary.
