If the pump set cannot be started via the two buttons, or if the
controller is defective (the yellow indicator light "DIESEL
CONTROLLER FAULT" is on), the last possibility is to start the
engine via the two emergency startup buttons behind the glass
panel. See fig. 12. To do this, break the glass panel. Carry out the
start attempts alternately using the left and the right button.
Press the button until the engine starts up, however not longer
than 15 seconds. Stop the engine as described in section
12.1 Automatic operation.

12.4 Test run

The function of the emergency start device and the automatic
start function must be tested during a test run.
Do not leave the pump room during the test run.
Observe all operating and fault indications as the

pump set does not stop automatically in case of
fault (e.g. no cooling water or no oil).
