11.7.2 Worm gear and worm wheel backlash adjustment
Drain the lubricating oil via the discharge opening of the rotary table.
Remove the back cover of the worm shaft.
Loosen the four screws (D) evenly then adjust with the four screws (C).
The adjustment of the distance screws counterclockwise causes that the worm shaft is
moved in arrow direction when fixing screws are fixed again.
Clamp the fixing screws and measure the backlash again.
Readjust further, when the backlash in the worm and the worm shaft is not within the range
of 0.01mm ~ 0.02mm.
