Running time = Time during which the pump supplies the lubrication points.

Interval time = Pause between running times.

Operating mode on WGKX-1 = C000 or C001 or C002.

Pressure settings = mechanically defined setting at the overfill valve.

6.13.1 Function
Your machine is equipped with a central lubrication system. During operation the supply posi-
tions are automatically supplied with oil in regular intervals via the integrated control.
The lubricating system is used to maintain an oil film on the slideways, the bearings, the ledges
and the ball screws and to reduce their wear.
In case of a failure or a fault in the central lubricating system, a stick-slip effect may occur. This
effect describes the jerky sliding of solid bodies moving opposite one another.
The system consists of lubrication with a pump unit, a distributor system, feed pipes and a float
switch.
The lubrication points are supplied by the pump at intervals specified by the integrated con-

trol.
An overfill valve ensures a uniform quantity of oil at the machine's distribution system. The

distribution system in the machine ensures that the correct quantity of oil reaches each con-
sumer.
A float switch monitors the level and outputs a signal and an additional acoustic signal if the

level is too low.
