11.7.1 Ensuring the backlash
The backlash can be measured with a dial gauge and with the help of a flat plate. Insert the flat
plate into the T-slot of the rotary table and try to move the table with the hand (manual force 15
to 20kg) to the left and right.
Measure the backlash again and make sure that it is between 0.01mm ~ 0.02mm (40 to 60 sec-
onds of arc). An adjustment is required when a backlash of above 0.05mm is observed.
The measurement must be carried out at eight points of the table by rotating, every 45 °.

Replace the lubricant every 6 months in normal
operation.
Replace the lubricant every 3 months at a continu-
ous operation.
When the machine is inactive for more than six
months, the lubricating oil must be changed.

Draining oil after unscrewing the oil drain plug.

Make sure that the oil reservoir is clean.

Close the oil drain plug again.
Oil change

Open the cover oil filler.

Fill the oil tanks again with the recommended
oil.

Fix the cover of oil filler again.

Make sure that the oil level is above the center
of the oil sight glass.

Clean the rotary table daily from cooling lubri-
cants and chips.
