In some cases, it may be possible to resolve faults on the unit using the
9 'Troubleshooting' on page 97. The measuring unit is protected against interference in
accordance with the NAMUR recommendations NE21. The maintenance tasks essentially
consist of checking the lateral bore in the measuring calotte for deposits at certain
intervals and cleaning it as required.

CAUTION!
So that the conductivity display is adjusted to the value in the table, either
the TCa value needs to be set to 0%/K, or the SEL button should be
pressed in display mode to display the uncompensated conductivity.
If an armature factor of 1 1 is set, the conductivity reading is
calculated as follows:
Table value x armature factor
– Simulated value x armature factor = conductivity display
– 2.00 mS/cm x 1.02 = 2.04 mS/cm

The electrical testing of the LMIT09 DPV1 can be performed with the aid of a
reference resistance which is inserted through the lateral bore of the measuring
calotte (loop resistance). Here, the loop resistance (which is chosen according to
the measuring
range
) simulates a conductive fluid. A conductivity simulator with the resistance values specified in
accessory, article No. 289190 (EBS no. 10001656).
If the indicated conductivity value deviates from the target value (see table),
then it is possible to recalibrate the LMIT 09 / S209 in calibration mode (see
Ä Chapter 8.7 'Select' on page 78).
