If possible, the flow fitting should be installed in vertically running pipe sections
(see Ä 'Installation Instructions' on page 33) in order to prevent trapped air from
distorting readings.

NOTICE!
In the event of extremely high ambient temperatures due to a heat build-
up (> 50 °C) and extreme pipe vibrations (> 150 Hz, 20 m/s2), we
recommend using the wall-mounted version of the LMIT09 DPV1 with a
separate conductivity value transducer. When using the compact version,
the pipe must be attached both before and after the LMIT09 DPV1
(see
The measuring bore in the calotte must be aligned parallel to the pipe's
axis, i.e. in the flow direction of the medium.

The flow must travel from the bottom up.
The housing of the LMIT09 DPV1 should ideally be rotated so
that the electrical connections point downwards.
If the transmitter is installed in horizontal pipes, the installation
must be performed from below.
