Operation

TC-Value (only in conjunction with conductivity)

Setting range: 0 to 5.00 %/K
The temperature coefficient describes the change in conductivity that results from
changes in temperature relative to a fixed reference temperature.
The temperature compensation needs to be adjusted because the conductivity of the
material being measured is strongly influenced by the temperature, among other things.
Since, in industrial applications, conductivity measurements are often used as a tool for
determining the concentration of solutions, and therefore the actual conductivity at a given
temperature is not necessarily of interest, the conductivity is measured in relation to a
reference temperature of e.g. 20 °C.
An option for automatic determination of the temperature coefficient is described under
Ä 'TC-Calculation' on page 80.
