Start-up
CAUTION!
The measuring bore must be clean, dry and free of any foreign objects (no
liquid or dirt in the measuring bore).
To set the output current and conductivity display to the table values, the following
conditions must be fulfilled:

TC = 0 %/K
n
Armature factor = 1.000
Zero point = 0 mS ≙ 0 mA or 4 mA
n
n
SPAN = 100% of measuring range
If a Tc value has been set up then the right-hand button can also be used to check
the conductivity display, as a result of which the uncompensated conductivity value is
additionally displayed in the bottom centre of the display.
The current output is also adapted to the uncompensated value and displayed.
If an armature factor of ≠ 1.000 is selected, the resulting displayed conductivity
value is calculated as follows: Table value x armature factor
Example:

Simulated value x armature factor = conductivity display
2.00 mS/cm x 0.980 = 1.96 mS/cm

The armature factor is set to 0.980 at the factory.

NOTICE!
To achieve the specified measurement accuracy in the measuring range
0...200 µS/cm, the check and re-calibration must be conducted in
conjunction with the flow fitting used (zero point and Span).
For this, the measuring cell must be installed clean and dry in the flow
fitting for the "zero point check", without any loop resistance and/or without
fluid. For the "measuring range end value calibration", the measuring
cell must also be installed in the flow fitting with the corresponding loop
resistance (38.3kΏ ≙ 200µS/cm, article no. 289191, EBS no. 10092914).
In the event of a deviation from the target value, a recalibration can be
performed in the 'Calibration' menu.
At the factory the unit has been calibrated in an NW50 flow fitting.
