Setting the transfer rate (baud rate)
The PROFIBUS master determines the transfer rate on the bus. This is recognised
automatically by the LMIT09 DPV1. If a change is made to the transfer rate, the supply
voltage of the unit must be switched on and off again briefly.
The transfer rates supported by the LMIT09 are listed below:
n 9.6 kBits/s
n 19.2 kBits/s
n 93.75 kBits/s
n 187.5 kBits/s
500 kBits/s
n
n 1.5 MBits/s
n 3 MBits/s
n 6 MBits/s
n 12 MBits/s
CAUTION!
To prevent synchronisation problems, the transfer rate of: max. 6 MBits/s
should not be exceeded.
