Start-up

CAUTION!
Installation and start-up work must only be performed by authorised,
trained technical personnel. We recommend engaging the services of
Ä 'Manufacturer' on page 10.
Ensure that the supply voltage complies with the voltage displayed on the
rating plate.
Before initial start-up, check that all system components are firmly seated/
installed. After performing configuration work on the open unit, make sure
it is properly closed again. A complete acceptance log must be compiled
during the initial start-up of the system.
Check that all connections are correctly fitted.
NOTICE!
The device has already been calibrated at the factory and is ready for use.
It is delivered with a basic configuration (see
settings' on page 95).
Switch on
Before switching on the unit, familiarise yourself with its operation.

On connection of the supply voltage, the start screen is displayed briefly with information
about the software version.

Check of conductivity calibration
The conductivity simulator, article no. 289190 (EBS no. 10001656), and the calibration
resistance 38 k3 (200 µS/cm), article no. 289191 (EBS no. 10092914), can be used for
calibration purposes and to monitor the calibration.

The conductivity/concentration and temperature are then shown,
as well as all important settings and operating statuses (see
Ä 8.2 'Display indicators' on page 44).
Use the menus (
Ä Chapter 8.7 'Select' on page 78) to perform the necessary
configuration and parameter settings for your application process.
To do this, remove the cover from the unit and replace it properly
and carefully again once the adjustments have been made.
