General information
This manual contains all important information on the function, operation, configuration of
the LMI 02 (from Software status 1.04) as well as the troubleshooting and servicing.
The LMI 02 is a conductivity measuring and control instrument with inductive
measurement.
1.1
Maintenance and Repair
Repair and maintenance work must be carried out with the help of a separate manual by
authorised qualified personnel only.
Suitable safety clothing and safety glasses must be worn for the maintenance and repair

Damage in transit
Do not install the instrument if, after unpacking it, you discover that it has been damaged in
transit.
1.3
Warranty
The manufacturer undertakes warranty for the operating safety and performance of the
metering unit under the following conditions only.
Assembly, connection, installation, maintenance and repair must be carried out by
authorised personnel only
- The metering unit must be used in accordance with the instructions of the technical
manual
- Only use original parts for repair work.
- Only use the approved products.
In addition, the general warranty and service conditions of the company ECOLAB-
Engineering GmbH are applicable.
