Questa funzione di sicurezza protegge il siste-
ma "macchina+radiocomando" dai
movimenti non voluti, intesi come i movimenti
della macchina non attivati
dall'operatore in modo volontario, ma causati
da eventuali guasti elettrici e meccanici del
radiocomando.
Questa protezione controlla la posizione neu-
tra (di riposo) degli attuatori che comandano i
movimenti nella macchina. Ogni volta che
viene azionato uno di questi attuatori, l'unità
trasmittente invia sia il comando di movimento
che il comando
SAFETY.
A seconda dell'applicazione, le uscite relative
a questi comandi sono cablate in serie oppure
le uscite del comando SAFETY pilotano il
dispositivo di sicurezza previsto sulla macchi-
na.
AVVERTENZE
Oltre a tutte le indicazioni imposte dal costrutto-
re della macchina, dall'installatore del radioco-
mando e dal responsabile della sicurezza dell'a-
rea di lavoro, un'operatore dovrà sempre rispet-
tare le seguenti avvertenze.
Prima di iniziare a lavorare.
L'unità trasmittente deve esser utilizzata in
modo agevole e comodo evitando che possa
cadere accidentalmente. La cinghia fornita con
il radiocomando serve a tale scopo.
Collocarsi in una posizione che consenta il con-
trollo diretto della macchina da lui radiocoman-
data e dei movimenti del carico, nonché in una
posizione che garantisca le sue condizioni di
sicurezza rispetto alle altre operazioni e/o atti-
vità e/o lavorazioni che si svolgono nel luogo di
lavoro.
Non avviare o utilizzare mai l'unità trasmitten-
te in situazioni lavorative in cui si possa perde-
re l'equilibrio o si possa inciampare.
Verifica sempre il corretto funzionamento mec-
canico del pulsante STOP. Se risultasse impos-
sibile o difficile azionare tale pulsante, non uti-
lizzare il radiocomando.
Non avviare mai l'unità trasmittente se non per
iniziare a lavorare: l'uso improprio potrebbe
causare situazioni di pericolo.
Non avviare o azionare mai l'unità trasmitten-
te in posti chiusi, fuori visibilità o fuori dal rag-
gio di azione tipico del radiocomando: anche in
questi casi è infatti possibile creare un collega-
mento radioelettrico con il rischio di far esegui-
re dei comandi non voluti alla macchina radio-
comandata.
Durante il normale funzionamento.
Seguire mediante controllo visivo diretto tutti i
movimenti della macchina e del carico rima-
nendo all'interno del raggio di azione del radio-
comando.
Prestare attenzione agli avvisi e alle segnala-
zioni visive e acustiche e adottare tutte le pre-
cauzioni e le azioni necessarie ad evitare che il
movimento della macchina radiocomandata
possa creare situazioni di pericolo per le per-
sone e/o le cose.
Prestare attenzione a tutta l'area di lavoro e
intervenire immediatamente premendo il pul-
sante di STOP quando si verifica una situazione
di pericolo.
Evitare di toccare la parte metallica dell'unità
ricevente in quanto potrebbe raggiunger tem-

Protection against unintended movements
from the standstill position
(UMFS).
This safety function protects the system
"machine+radio remote control" from unin-
tended movements, namely machine move-
ments not activated intentionally by the user,
but resulting from possible electrical and
mechanical failure of the radio remote con-
trol.
Such safety function checks the neutral
(rest) position of the actuators that control
the machine's movements. Each time one of
those actuators is operated, the transmitting
unit sends both the movement command
and the "SAFETY" command.
Depending on the specific application, out-
puts related to these commands
are wired in series; alternatively the SAFETY
command's outputs drive the safety device
provided on the machine.
WARNINGS
In addition to all instructions provided by the
machine manufacturer, by the installer of the
radio remote control and by the person respon-
sible for the safety of the
work area, users shall always respect the fol-
lowing warnings.
Before starting to work.
The transmitting unit shall be used in a simple
and comfortable way, avoiding
accidental falls. The harness provided with the
radio remote control
serves as such.
Stand in a position that allows the direct
supervision of the remote controlled
machine and its load, and stay in a place
ensuring safety conditions in
respect of other operations and/or activities
and/or processes that are carried
out in the working environment.
Never start up or use the transmitting unit if
the working conditions present
the risk of losing balance or tripping.
Always check that the mechanical operation
of the STOP pushbutton is correct.
If it is impossible or difficult to press this
pushbutton, do not use the radio remote con-
trol.
Only start up the transmitting unit when star-
ting work: improper use may
cause hazardous situations.
Never start up or use the transmitting unit in
closed spaces, with the machine
not in sight, or outside the radio remote con-
trol typical working range: in such cases it is in
fact still possible to build a radio link, thus
causing the risk that unwanted commands be
carried out by the machine.
During normal operation
Visually and directly follow all movements of
the machine and its load and
remain inside the radio remote control
working range.
Pay particular attention to warnings and visual
and acoustic signals, and
take all measurements and steps to avoid
that movements of the remote controlled
machine may lead to hazardous situations for
people and/or property.

Schutz vor ungewollten Bewegung aus der
Ruhestellung UMFS.
Diese Sicherheitsfunktion schützt das System
"Maschine+Funkfernsteuerung" vor ungewollten
Bewegungen, also die Bewegungen der
Maschine, die der Fahrer nicht willentlich akti-
viert, sondern die durch elektrische und mechani-
sche Störungen der Funkfernsteuerung verursa-
cht werden.
Dieser Schutz kontrolliert die neutrale Position
(Ruhestellung) der Bedienelemente, die die
Bewegungen der Maschine steuern. Jedes Mal,
wenn eines dieser Bedienelemente betätigt wird,
sendet der Funksender sowohl den
Bewegungsbefehl als auch den SAFETY-Befehl.
Je nach der Anwendung sind die Ausgänge dieser
Befehle mit Reihenanschluss verkabelt oder die
Ausgänge des SAFETY-Befehls steuern die
Sicherheitseinrichtung vor, die auf der Maschine
vorgesehen ist.
HINWEISE
Neben allen Angaben, die der Hersteller der
Maschine, der Installateur der Funkfernsteuerung
und
der
Sicherheitsverantwortliche
Arbeitsbereichs vorschreiben, muss ein Fahrer
immer die folgenden Hinweise beachten.
Vor Beginn der Arbeit.
Der Funksender muss in einer sicheren und
bequemen Position benutzt werden, damit er nicht
hinfallen kann. Die mit der Funkfernsteuerung
gelieferte Handschlaufe dient zu diesem Zweck.
Eine Position einnehmen, in der man die
Maschine, die ferngesteuert wird, und die
Bewegungen der Last unter direkter Kontrolle hat.
Diese
Position
muss
Sicherheitsbedingungen
für
Vorgänge
und/oder
Tätigkeiten
Verarbeitungen gewährleisten, die am Arbeitsort
ausgeführt werden.
Den Funksender nie in Arbeitssituationen ein-
schalten oder benutzen, in denen man stolpern
oder das Gleichgewicht verlieren kann.
Immer sicherstellen, dass die STOP-Taste mecha-
nisch korrekt funktioniert. Sollte es unmöglich
oder schwierig sein, diese Taste zu betätigen, darf
die Funkfernsteuerung nicht benutzt werden.
Den Funksender nie einschalten, wenn es nicht
dazu dient, die Arbeit anzufangen: Die unsach-
gemäße Benutzung könnte zu gefährlichen
Situationen führen.
Den Funksender nie an geschlossenen Orten,
außerhalb der Blickweite oder außerhalb des typi-
schen Reichweite der Funkfernsteuerung einschal-
ten oder betätigen: Auch in diesen Fällen kann es
nämlich zur Erzeugung einer Funkverbindung
kommen, mit der Gefahr, dass der ferngesteuer-
ten Maschine nicht erwünschte Befehle erteilt wer-
den.
Während des Betriebs.
Alle Bewegungen der Maschine und der Last mit
direkter Sichtkontrolle verfolgen und innerhalb der
Reichweite der Funkfernsteuerung bleiben.
Auf die optischen und akustischen Hinweise und
Meldungen achten und alle erforderlichen
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und Aktionen ergreifen, um
zu vermeiden, dass die Bewegung der fernge-
steuerten Maschine zu Situationen führt, die für
Personen und/oder Sachen gefährlich sein könn-
ten.
Auf den gesamten Arbeitsbereich achten und
sofort durch Drücken der STOP-Taste eingreifen,
wenn es zu einer Gefahrensituation kommt.
