PERSON/LOAD TRANSPORT
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• The riding and braking behaviour of the E-bike will change when you load the
E-bike. The braking distance may extend considerably due to the increased weight.
DANGER
• Use special bicycle side bags, baskets or clamping devices for safe transport. Do
not use any loose belts to attach the load, since these may catch in the wheels.
• Do not cover the lighting system in transport so that you will be seen by other road
users in darkness or bad visibility.
• Do not hang any bags or other objects from the handlebar for transport. The
handlebar may break or the riding performance will be impaired.
DANGER OF DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS!
• The maximum permitted total weight of the E-bike must not exceed the value
indicated in chapter "Technical data". The total weight includes the E-bike, the rider
and any load (e.g. basket and side bags, including contents, child seat incl. child,
trailer including trailing load.). Exceeding it may cause damage up to breaking of
parts.
• The maximum permitted load on the luggage carrier or basket must not be
exceeded.
• Always distribute the load evenly to avoid impairing the riding performance
(specifically in turns) any more than necessary.
CHILD SEAT
RISK OF ACCIDENT!
• Children younger than 7 years of age must only be transported on a bicycle in
Germany if using special approved child seats and if the cyclist is at least 16 years
WARNING!
old (StVO). When using a child seat, observe the maximum permitted weight of the
child and read the operating instructions of the manufacturer with care.
• When installing a child seat, observe complete covering of all spring rings under
the saddle, since crushing of the fingers and other limbs may otherwise occur.
DANGER OF DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS!
• Always observe the safety notes of the child seat manufacturer
and read the child seat operating instructions attentively.
• Use only suitable child seats that comply with DIN EN 15344.
• Do not mount a child's seat to the seat post as this could otherwise break. The
carrier is also not intended to accommodate a child's seat. Instead, use a child's
seat that can be attached to the seat tube.
