RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
The E-bike is equipped with a high-performance lithium ion rechargeable battery. The rechargeable
battery supplies the drive system and the lighting with power. The power of the rechargeable battery
depends on its age, type and frequency of use, as well as maintenance.
The full performance (capacity) of a new rechargeable battery is only achieved after approx. 2–5
complete charging processes. Complete means that only one LED of the rechargeable battery charg-
ing display is lit before charging and charging is not interrupted prematurely.
The rechargeable battery is a wear part and subject to natural capacity reduction in use. The capacity
reduction is lowest when the battery does not become excessively hot and the charge state varies
between approx. 20 % and 80 %. If possible, you should therefore park the e-bike with the installed
battery in the shade instead of in direct sunlight. Since this type of battery has no memory effect, you
can recharge it after every ride. This also prevents the excessive wear and tear that occurs with lithi-
um-ion batteries when they are fully discharged.
For more information regarding warranty/guarantee, see the chapter warranty in these operating in-
structions.
BATTERY CHARGE STATE INDICATOR
You can read the battery charge state on the display and, with
some models, directly on the battery. On the battery, press the

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
Charge the rechargeable battery completely again if possible
after every ride. This type of rechargeable battery does not
suffer any memory effect. For the charging times of your
E-Bike, see the technical data. You can charge the rechargea-
ble battery in or outside of the bike:
1. Switch off the drive system as described.
