QUICK-CLAMP
QUICK-CLAMP
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• Ensure before starting your ride that all quick-clamps are closed with sufficient
tensing force. If the quick-clamps are not closed sufficiently, parts may come loose.
WARNING!
• The lever of the quick-clamp must be completely flush and must not stand off!
Wheel quick-clamps and frame quick-clamps always must point backwards for
reasons of safety (when viewed in the cycling direction).
• If the quick-clamp lever generally can be closed very easily or trusted when closed,
the pre-tension will not be sufficient. Adjust the quick-clamp then.
A quick-clamp comprises a lever
force and a counter-screw
sion.
Release the quick-clamp by flipping over the lever. To close, push the
lever back again until it is completely flush. On the first half of the clos-
ing movement, the lever must move relatively easily; on the second
half, it must move much stiffer. If this is not the case, the quick-clamp
must be adjusted, since it does not have enough tension.
SETTING THE QUICK-CLAMP
1. Release the lever
71
2. Adjust the pre-tension with the hexagonal screw
mm hexagonal socket wrench. For quick-clamps with knurled
screw
, you can adjust the settings manually.

3. Push the quick-clamp lever
The lever must be flush entirely.
SET THE AXLE QUICK-CLAMP
1. Release the lever
