REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Use the turning rotary handle to shift to the 1st gear.
2. V-brake rim brake: Disconnect the brake cable
take out the wheel more easily later.
Hydraulic rim brake: Open the quick-clamping lever
rim brake [OPEN].
3. Hydraulic rim brake: Take the brake cylinder
ver socket
in order to take out the wheel more easily later.

4. Release the brake counter-holder on the left side of the E-bike
.

5. Release the axle nuts on both sides of the rear wheel with a
15 mm wrench.
6. Take the two axle nuts including the safety washers
the axle.
7. Pull out the rear wheel from the drop-out.
8. In order to release the rear wheel from the shift cable, turn
the circlip
by approx. 45° counter-clockwise. Now you

can disconnect the circlip and the actuating lever from the
rear wheel.
INSTALLING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Place the actuating lever on the hub of the rear wheel. Ob-
serve that the yellow marks of the actuating lever cover the
yellow marks of the hub
2. Place the circlip on the actuating lever and turn it by approx.
45° clockwise. (

3. Place the rear wheel into the drop-out.
4. Apply the safety washers on the axle so that the interlock is in
the drop-out (
).

5. Fasten the rear wheel with the axle nuts. Ensure that the
wheel is placed straight in the holder and that the chain is ap-
propriately tensioned (see chapter Chain tension).
6. Attach the counter-holder bracket on the left side with the
pipe clamp screw connection at the frame (
7. V-brake rim brake: Connect the brake cable
Hydraulic rim brake: Push the brake cylinder
the cantilever socket
8. Hydraulic rim brake: Close the quick-clamping lever
[CLOSE]. If the lever closes too easily, the quick-clamping
screw must be adjusted (see chapter Brakes).
9. Check that the rim brake works properly. Adjust it if necessary
(s. chapter Brake).
10. Set the gearshift (s. chapter Setting the gearshift).
