ROTARY HANDLE SWITCH
Turn the rotary handle switch to change the gear. The sight
window on the rotary handle switch shows the gear that is en-
gaged.
SETTING
Every chain gearshift must be adjusted from time to time. If this is not done, increased wear, reduced
shifting comfort, up to function failure of the shifting system must be expected.
Therefore, always observe that the gearshift works without problems. If, for example, the gears can
no longer be shifted properly or if you hear any unusual sounds when shifting, you usually need to ad-
just the chain gearshift.
PREPARATION WORK
Before you start the shifting settings, check the following things:
1. Check if the shift cables or cable sleeves are just dirty.
2. The rear wheel must be fitted tightly and must not have any play.
3. The gearshift must not be bent. For this, look at the two shifting rollers from behind. They must
be precisely on top of each other, so that the chain from the tensioning roller to the guiding roller
runs precisely straight.
