Description
Technical data
Sound and vibration
The noise specifications in the technical data
were determined according to CE standard
'NoIse measurement of industrial trucks,
sound level at the workplace and sound power
level" (In preparation). The sound power level
at the driver's station is 77 dBA.
According to directive
86/l88/EC,
however, the
specified truck noise levels cannot be used
for determining the noise emission at the
workplace (daily personal noise allowance). If
required, these must be determined directly
at the workplace under actually existing
Influences (further sources of noise, special
operating conditions, sound reflections).
The vibrations were determined according to
the CEN standard "Vibrations measurements
on fork trucks" (in preparation). These data are
truck characteristics under defined conditions.
The requirements and values are met. The
personal vibration load on the driver for one
work day must be determined, if necessary,
at the site of operation In order to take all other
Influencing factors such as road stretch,
intensity of operation, etc., Into consideration.

Emissions
Exhaust gases
The engine emits exhaust gases Into the
environment. The exhaust gas consists malnly
of steam, carbon dioxide (C0
2
),
carbon
monoxide (CO), hydrocarbon (CH), aldehyde,
nitric oxide (NO.) and soot. The constituents
CO, CH and NO. are poisonous or dangerous
to health and they must not be inhaled in high
concentrations.
Diesel engine emissions
According to technical rules for dangerous
materials (In Germany TRGS 554) diesel
exhaust gases are considered hazardous to
health. Especially the exhaust gas soot
particles may cause cancer.
DANGER:
If
your truck
is
not provided with
an
exhaust gas particle filter (exhaust gas
cleaner for diesel engines), it must not be used
in totally or partially enclosed spaces.
Heat
The exhaust gases are very hot and they can
set inflammable material on fire. Therefore keep
the exhaust pipe away from inflammable
materials.
Battery
During charging, the battery emits a mixture
of oxygen and hydrogen (detonating gas). This·
gas mixture is explosive and it must not be
ignited. The risk of explosion can be avoided
through sufficient ventilation and by avoiding
naked flames. Follow the safety precautions
for handling the battery.
Wheels and tyres
Approved types of tyres
Only the specified types of tyres may be
Installed. Inflate the pneumatic tyres to the
pressure specified on the tyre inflation
pressure labels.
