SERVICING
V-belt
1. Check the V-belt for slippage, cracks or chipping.

Ball Bearing
1. Turn the ball bearing by hand and check for binding or
abnormal sound as shown in the figure.
Stator
1. Resistance between the phases (measured between each
lead wire drawn from each phase and the neutral point):

or less.
2. Insulation resistance between the core and the coil:
0.1 MD or higher (Use a 500V megger.)
• NOTE:
• The stator coil is not liable to break during normal oper ­
ation. If there is no conduction, the connection of each
lead wire should be checked.
